They also have the opportunity to introduce their single friends in a warm, friendly and fun environment for laughter, new friendships and possibly romance.

It’s easy! In your member account, click on the pitching board, answer a few of the questions about your single friend, and submit!
When a member decides to pitch one of their wonderful single friends using the questions in the Checked Mates app, they are then referred to as a ‘Featured Friend’. Only Featured Friends can be pitched in-person at a curated future event.
No. The answers remain private and visible only to the friend who has provided them in their individual member portal. Answers will be read out in-person at a member selected, curated and age-appropriate event. This encourages warm, fun and real interactions between real people!
No, Featured Friends are given a complimentary ticket to attend an event.
Your hosts will make sure everyone feels welcome, encouraging conversations between different groups of guests. Pitched singles will then be introduced to the group using the answers provided by their friend. Expect a warm and friendly atmosphere and plenty of laughs.
Your ticket includes a complimentary drink at the specified venue. There will also be a cash bar open for drinks purchases throughout the evening.
Note a portion of the net proceeds from the ticket purchase will be donated to a number of charitable organisations determined by the host.

No, you need a friend to make the pitch for you.
Yes, you can submit up to two pitches at each event.
Regular dating apps are algorithm-driven marketplaces; Checked Mates is friend-pitched and therefore it’s socially curated matchmaking powered by trust and friendship.
And because introductions happen through mutual friends, there’s a built-in layer of accountability and social context — reducing ghosting, bad behavior, and purely transactional interactions.

Guests will be provided with coloured wristbands to wear depending on their relationship status, in order to avoid any misunderstandings!
As each event is thoughtfully curated, tickets are non-refundable.
